Meet the Doctor
Spencer Z Forman, DMD
Dr Spencer Forman was born and grew up in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr Forman graduated from the University Of Pennsylvania, getting
his DMD in 1975. His undergraduate work was done at Clarkson
University and Boston University. He graduated with a BA in
Mathematics from Boston University in 1971
Dr Forman has practiced in Jamesburg, NJ since August 1976.
Member of
Dr Forman is a former chairman of the Dental Department of
the University Medical Center of Princeton. Dr Forman has
been active with the Mercer Dental Society and served on their
Executive Committee and as Recording Secretary.
Outside of the office Dr Forman has served on the Board of
Directors for the Princeton Youth Hockey Association. Dr Forman
has an advanced Level 4 coaching certification from USA Hockey.
Dr Forman previously served on the board of directors for
the Princeton Youth Baseball Association and coached teams
during the regular league season and he helped coach the leagues
All Star teams. Dr Forman Has also served on the Troop Committee
of Boy Scout of America’s Troop 88 in Princeton, New
Jersey.

Now that he is no longer serving on youth boards, Dr Forman
and his wife Louise (now married for 37 years) have been enjoying
more theatre and concerts in both New Jersey and New York.
They have also started taking their bikes to various places
around New Jersey and New York. Their longest excursion to
date was in August 2008. They biked from Niagara-on-the-Lake,
Ontartio to the Niagara Falls, a forty mile round trip.
Louise works for Rutgers University as the business manager
for the School of Communication and Information. They have
3 sons:
- Drew, a Ph.D. candidate at Cornell University in Material
Engineering.
- Robert, a graduate of the Wharton School of the University
of Pennsylvania. Rob is an aspiring TV and movie writer
living in Los Angelos working on Television shows while
creating his own work.
- Jonathan, a recent graduate of the University of Rochester.
Jon will be starting to work for JPMorgan in the summer
of 2009. He interned for them during the summer of 2008.

Donna - Dental Hygienist
Donna has been a dental hygienist since graduating
from Union College/Union County Technical Institue
in 1973. She is married to Ron and mom to daughter
Nicole, 22 and son Cory, 18. They have lived in Monroe
Twp since 1979. Through the years, she has been an
active volunteer for the Monroe Twp Soccer Club and
the local PTAs.
She has worked for Dr Forman for 22 years- 11 part
time and then went full time 11 years ago. She is
also an adjunct instructor for UMDNJ in Scotch Plains
and is the Coordinator of Continuing Education for
the School of Health Related Professions, there. Anyone
who visits her in the office, soon knows what a huge
Ricky Martin fan she is!

Dorothea - Certified and Registered Dental Assisitant
Dorothea is a Certified Dental Assistant. After graduating
from Middlesex County College, she was required to
complete an externship at Temple University to advance
her dental skills. . She became a Registered Dental
Assistant, She is presently teaching a program to
certify other dental assisants at UMDNJ/SHRP in Scotch
Plains. She has been studying the body and movement
since 1985, starting with Kung Fu and the Japanese
art of shiatsu massage (accupressure.) These interests
have led her to persue the study of yoga and massage
therapy. Knowing all of these arts has had a positive
effect in the well-being and comfort of our patients
while in her care.

Emmer - Dental Assistant
Emmer was born in the Philippines. She is married
and has lived in this area for more than 20 years.
She has been working for Dr Forman for 18 years and
she loves working with our patients.

Lois - Office manager
Lois has lived in this area her entire life. She
was a patient in this practice long before being hired
more than 22 years ago. She is married and has a grown
son and a very spoiled Shih Tzu named Gia.
